We know that not everyone can, or wants, to spend huge budgets on their flowers for their big day. But that doesn’t mean you can’t achieve your dream look for your wedding, civil ceremony or hand-clasping ceremony.

You also don’t have to default to cut fresh flowers. Dried flowers are having an absolute moment right now and there is something very special about being able to keep your flowers and turn them into keepsake arrangements that last a lifetime.

Picking your own wedding flowers

Visiting Foxlight to pick your own wedding flowers couldn’t be easier, simply turn up, snip the flowers you love and take them home!

We are competitively priced at £50 for a bucket of 50 stems

We recommend getting in touch when you’re planning your colour scheme, so we can tell you what varieties and colours are going to be flowering when you visit, and we can help you work out how many stems you need so you can manage your budget well in advance.

To give you a rough idea of stem numbers, the average bridal bouquet is made up of 20-25 stems, average bridesmaid bouquets are 9 – 12 stems and the average table arrangement can be anything from 3 stems for a vintage-style milk bottle look, to 50 stems for a breath-taking floral chandelier. We can help with ideas and solutions for any budget.

Because you’ll be taking away more flowers than our bouquet customers, we’d also recommend bringing your own buckets to fill!

For the best looking blooms on your big day, cut your flowers 2 / 3 days in advance and leave to condition at least overnight in buckets of cold water placed in a cool room, before arranging.

We also have a huge collection of vintage and rustic vases, candelabras, milk bottles and all sorts of fabulous table ware and decorations to help you create the perfect scheme for your big day.
